The Section of Gastrointestinal (GI) Surgery is led by Hobart W. Harris, M.D., M.P.H. Faculty in the program take care of patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. This includes cancers and benign conditions of the esophagus, liver, spleen, bile ducts, pancreas, stomach and gallbladder.
